Hp Softpaq Download Manager Not Working

  • I am a computer tech in many schools, and I am trying to download drivers for a laptop and a printer. I've been trying this for a week now, but the download is either very slow (Less than 1KB/S) or timed out. I am using all kind of browsers, and am truing this from every school, with different ISPs. So tell me, are the HP servers even working.
  • HP SoftPaq Download Manager provides a simple way to download software updates for the HP client PC models in your environment. HP SDM can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to locate and download updates. SoftPaqs can be downloaded in as few as three easy steps from a single user interface after initial setup.
  • Start All Programs HP HP SoftPaq Download Manager Properties, add /FORCEHTTP after the closing quote 'C: Program Files (x86) HP HP SoftPaq Download Manager SoftPaqDownloadManager.exe' /FORCEHTTP. This switch, though a temporary solution is probably not a cure, but it works!
